Cowbit
Cowbit Village Hall, Spalding, Lincolnshire
Cowbit is just off the main A16 between Stamford and Spalding. From Stamford, head out east towards Spalding, along the Market Deeping bypass and carry on through Deeping St. Nicholas for another 2-3 miles until you cross the River Welland; shortly after this you will come to a roundabout. Turn right on to the A1073 - it's signposted for Cowbit. Drive along this road until you come in to the village, and note the church on the left. The village hall is very close by, but note that it is lower than the road and thus not immediately visible - however, it is signposted immediately opposite the entrance to the hall and its associated car park.

Harpenden is served by the A1081 (St Albans Road). From the M1 turn off at Junction 9 onto the A5183 Follow this until you come to a roundabout (about 2 miles) and take the first exit (left) onto the B487. Follow this road until you come to a mini roundabout (about 1 ½ miles) and take the first exit (left) off the roundabout, a short distance from this will be a further roundabout. Take the last exit (right). A few yards down this road take the first left turning. This is Southdown Road/Arden Grove. The hall is right at the end of this turning. Parking is to the front and rear of the hall via Arden Grove and surrounding side roads. There are also a small number of disabled parking bays at the front of the hall.

Sambrook
Sambrook Church Hall, Sambrook, Telford and Wrekin
Sambrook lies about half a mile off the A41 between Newport (Shropshire) and Market Drayton, near its junction with the A529. As you approach Sambrook village you will see the rather unusual church spire on your right. The church is adjacent to the village hall and so provides a good landmark. Shortly after passing the "Three Horseshoes" inn on your left you will come to a "Y" shaped junction with a stone-built barn standing dead centre. Do not impinge on this building if possible, as it is harder than you, but swing hard right. Twenty yards on, the entrance to the hall is on your right.
For
travellers from the South by Motorway: Travel north on M1, M6 and M54, turning
off at Junction 3 onto the A41 northwards, signposted to Whitchurch. In 8 miles
you will come to the Newport bypass and three roundabouts. Carry straight on
at each of these, and at the last you will be approximately 4 miles from Sambrook.
Only a matter of yards before you have to turn off the A41 to the right you
will see a large petrol tilling station (the only one) also on the right. Start
to signal a right turn as soon as you see this garage and you won't go wrong.
If you don't like motorways you can come up the A5 all the way from the Edgware Road to its junction with the A41.
From
the North, if you are travelling on the M6. your best bet is to come off at
Junction 15. This brings
you straight onto a roundabout at which you turn right onto the A519. Only two
hundred yards further on, at the top of a rise, are some traffic lights at which
you turn right onto the A5182. In less than a mile this joins the main A53,
at which you bear left towards Market Drayton. At the latter turn left onto
the A529 and follow it down to its junction with the A41 at Hinstock. Turn left
again and you will find the turning to Sambrook half a mile further on on your
left at the crest of a hill.
If you are coming down from North Wales or Chester make for the A41 near the latter and stay on it until just past the A529 junction, as above.

Shifnal
Shifnal Village Hall, Shifnal, Shropshire
Shifnal lies between Wolverhampton and Telford just off the M54 motorway, about a mile from junction 4.
If traveling from the south, follow the M1 to its junction with the M6 (J19), then continue on the latter to J10A, where you turn onto the M54. Please note that this is a limited access junction and you cannot use it to get onto the M54 from the North - see below. Leave the M54 at J4 and turn onto the A464, which takes you straight into Shifnal.
Go straight on at the first island towards the town center, which is dominated by a railway viaduct. The A464 continues, curving to the right, under the viaduct but you need to carry almost straight on, crossing the road which joins to the left, and going into Aston Street (narrow) immediately alongside the viaduct. Follow this for approximately 100 yards, when the village hall will be seen on the left, adjacent to a large car park which is free on Sundays.
From the North, travel down on the M6 to J12 and turn right onto the A5. Go straight on at the roundabout junctions with the A449 and the A41 until you reach the junction with the B4379, which goes directly into the town center to the viaduct mentioned above, where you turn left into Aston Street.
Shifnal may also be approached from the London or Welsh directions on the A5. From the north-west the A41 should be followed to its junction with the B4379, 3 miles south of Newport. From the south-west the A442/A4169 provides a good route.
Please do not park on the ground by the hall, which must be left clear for the organizers and stallholders.

From M4 Junction 16, take the Wootton Bassett turning (A3102). Continue to follow the signs for Wootton Bassett. Once in Wootton Bassett (3 miles from J16) you come into main town area where there is a raised town hall (black and white building on stilts). At that point turn left into Station Road, (sign posted for Broad Town / Broad Hinton) and then the hall is 500 yards on your left, on the corner of a crossroads where you need to turn left to access the car park.
